Growing some carolina reapers.
Hopefully this seeds are the real deal...

The normal one

Deformed looking one, leaf looks roundish, crooked

Grown under same conditions so not sure why, should I be concerned?

What is the medium you are growing them in? Have you fed them?

Just regular potting soil I purchased, fresh from the bag. Have been feeding it only one drop of liquid fertiliser per week, trying not to make the same mistake of nutrient burn again

Out of 6 seedlings, 3 look normal, 2 with deformed true leaves coming out, and the last one isn't really growing very much. All growing under same conditions

The best looking one for comparison

It's easy to worry about these things. See what the next set of leave look like.

Just an update, the two plants throwing out deformed leaves both seem stunted compared to the other ones with regular leaves which I have since repotted. All were grown under same conditions
