Walkerswood Hot Jamaican Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce

Post by Leif »

I bought a bottle of this from a local shop, about £1.50 for a decent quantity, much more than Tabasco, so not bad value. Taste wise, it's a classic scotch bonnet sauce, not too vinegary, salty but not unduly so, modest heat. I can eat a teaspoonful on its own without flinching and I'm no chilli hard case. It has some starch as a thicker, and potassium sorbate as a preservative, so not A1 ingredient wise, but no vile acetic acid or distilled vinegar. The flavour is very nice, not the best I've had, but quite yummy. This is one I'll buy again if I see it.
