Saw this is sainsburies £1.20 for 165g

Labelled: great taste Gold 2012 *

Ingredients: Water, Vinegar, Chilli peppars, Bhut Jolokia peppars (5%), modified starch, salt and mixed spices (contains mustard)

I've stated elsewhere I like a fairly simple sauce for adaptability and this looked good and reasonably priced.

Review: So what from a sauce "made with the worlds hottest peppars" and with a sign with 5 chillies and "x HOT" - well in truth I don't think it's that hot and of course the BJ is only 5% the rest some unspecified peppars - it adds some pep but nothing challenging for a chilli nut job. Apart from that I really like this and have already bought another: it is working very well in every context whilst having some flavour and thickness over the tabasco I have in.

I did get bought a very hot specialist chilli sauce that was a bit too onion for me hense my want for simplicity - I can't guess at what all the spices may be but it does seem to me and my GF that spices include a little onion but it is subtle enough and balanced - certainly in context so alls well.

I might have the sauce bug now so may well be trying others.

Forgot to add in this review there is slight sweetness to this but no sugar etc so all from the chillies ripeness I guessThis is certainly my go to sauce now - I know why some don't like tabasco although it still serves in many places but this is much better - probably won't buy any more tabasco, too wet, vinegary - this is much richer and fuller without all the other possible flavours many sauces add.
