The thing that you shouldn't overlook with a Vitopod is that when you go into your greenhouse or growroom...
...well it's the gardening equivalent of an Audi TT in the driveway and the keys in your pocket.

They say that the Vitopod is the Rolls Royce of propagators. I disagree, it's more like the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.

Going off on a slight tangent, I think mine (the Garland Fab 4) is the "Mini Moke" of props (i.e. more donkey than thoroughbred!).

Nice quick delivery Garden Sensation - Thank you!

What a wonderfully designed and manufactured bit of kit. I've only built one layer out of the three and it will be coming with me to The Community House tomorrow along with about 200 or so of our 450/500ish chilli seedlings to be potted up and kept warm for the day.

I'm looking forward to using this :)

It's a great bit of kit :) completely removes the worry/uncertainty I was used to with the cheapo prop I started with. Set and forget!

Snap! Built one of the three tiers and got it turned on. Couldn't agree more on the quality aspect very impressed so far and worth noting it'll keep any pesky aphids away from plants for now :0)

Just found that I have warping of the plastic base of my deluxe Heated Vitopod. This is not right is it?
I only have a few trays in there and they are light as I only use coco coir.
Should I contact greenhouse sensation and ask for a replacement?
Don't mean to sound rude but they are expensive and I expected better quility than that.

Advice please guys.

I'd get in touch and see that they say. I'll be taking lots out of mine this week to get the next batch of seeds going, so will check the base of mine too.

That's my understanding too. I think they're proud of their products and would want to know if you're having issues/problems.

Same for me twisted. I'm full of plants at the moment but will begin emptying to the greenhouse tomorrow and will mail them a video.

Ours has a tighter more focused distortion which seems to create a hot spot.

I've emailed GS and they are very helpful so far. They are just waiting for me to send photos/videos.

Hope you get it sorted. It makes bottom watering very complicated!

To be honest I not empressed wit the quality of the product. I have been reading a few cases of the base warping and for the money it costs we shouldn't have to worry about that. I will see how the replacement goes hopefully it will last more than 3 months. If not I will be asking for a full refund.

The material yours seems to be made of it different to mine. Mine was bought about 2 years ago. Your seems to be a shiny plastic, mine is a mat plastic which seems thicker. Maybe they've changed manufacturing methods and are having some issues? Hope they get it sorted for you as that would bug the hell out of me :)
