To late to sow seeds ?

Guys, is it to late to sow chilli seeds, thinking of growing a few maybe, anyone sowed this late and had good results ? thx

Depends on variety. Quicker growing varieties should be fine.

Ok, will not be growing super hots from seeds, just the early producers, have a freezer full of hots already, still not sure if to even grow any this year, trying to get my heart into it.

We've sown right up to the end of March before, and they caught the earlier sowings up by mid June, its really weather dependant as Jan/Feb sowings sit fairly dormant with lack of heat and light once they're up.
Generally the annuums germinate and catch up quicker than chinense types.
